As our CNC Machinist, you will be a part of a growing, fun, and diverse team specializing in manufacturing small parts for the connector industry.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 2 years of machining experience.
• Ability to produce parts in Stainless Steel, Beryllium Copper, Titanium

• Must be able to use tools appropriate for fabrication, inspection and validation.
• Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds and standing during shift hours.

What will you be Accountable for?

• Producing small machine parts using machine controls to program, setup, and operate Swiss lathe, and or turn/mill machines
• Maintaining high quality and safety standards, keeping records, maintaining equipment and needed supplies
• Reduce cost and improve on time delivery for existing products and work with the quality department to support the Quality System

How will you Collaborate?

You will collaborate with your supervisor and other departments and co-workers documenting or verbally communicating any actions that would help add value, shorten cycle time or improve the process.

What are you Empowered to do?

• Plan the work day by studying work orders, drawing specifications, machining parameters, interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances. Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run parts, and sample workpieces
• Adhering to procedures in accordance with the ISO and AS 9100 Quality Systems
• Programs lathe by entering instructions, setting tools and registers, offsets, zero and reference points
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
• Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions troubleshooting malfunctions and reporting such irregularities for repairs
