Job Description
Elevate Your Veterinary Career with Valley Green & Seven Valleys Veterinary Hospitals!
Discover an unparalleled opportunity to thrive in your veterinary career at one (or both) exceptional privately owned, progressive small animal practices nestled in the heart of York County, Pennsylvania – Valley Green Veterinary Hospital and Seven Valleys Veterinary Hospital. Experience the best of both worlds with a lower cost of living and easy access to vibrant metropolises such as Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington D.C., and Harrisburg.
Why Choose Us:
At Valley Green and Seven Valleys Veterinary Hospitals, we redefine the veterinary experience. Immerse yourself in an atmosphere where passion meets purpose. Our commitment extends beyond exceptional patient care to fostering an enjoyable work environment. We take pride in cultivating a culture that not only encourages the development of your special interests but also places a premium on maintaining work-life balance.
What Sets Us Apart:
Privately Owned Excellence: Join one or both of our well-established sister hospitals (as we lovingly refer to them), where we prioritize the individual growth and success of each team member. Enjoy the freedom to practice high quality medicine the way you see fit, not the way a corporation is telling you too.
⚖️ Your Work-Life Dream Awaits:
We understand the importance of work-life balance. Our commitment is not just to the well-being of our patients but also to the well-being of our dedicated veterinary team. As a valued veterinary associate at our hospitals, you'll enjoy the flexibility of a 2-4 day work week with the added bonus of – NO WEEKENDS EVER! Imagine a schedule where you can focus on your passion for veterinary care without sacrificing precious time with your family. We are closed on all major holidays, have no after-hour emergencies, and absolutely no on-call shifts. Our operating hours are from 8 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday, with the last appointment ending at 5 pm to ensure that you are out by 6 pm. We've intentionally set aside the last hour of the day for you to wrap up medical records and call backs, allowing you to savor dinner with your loved ones every night. Who doesn’t love that?
Exceptional Support Staff:
Our support staff are the backbone of our success. Trained through a rigorous tiered program (regardless of CVT of LVT status), only those in our highest tier monitor anesthesia. Those in lower tiers are skilled outpatient nurses that thrive in appointments as they continue to practice their skills until they reach the highest tier. They are trained to recommend yearly wellness blood work panels and have thorough knowledge of the vaccines and preventatives. Our staff is well versed in relaying veterinarian recommendations and will go over bloodwork results with the clients for you after you have made your diagnosis/recommendations within the medical record. Imagine a workplace where you can focus on being an amazing doctor while our skilled support team handles tasks like client education, placing catheters, and drawing blood without having to bother you for help! In addition, our support staff is certified in veterinary CPR – because excellence is our standard.
Both locations are full-service paperless veterinary hospitals using EzyVet software and are equipped with cutting-edge technology, including:

Collaborative Environment:
This is more than a job; it's an opportunity to practice high-level general medicine while building enduring relationships with clients and patients. Join our tight-knit team where support and camaraderie are second nature.
