The Project Manager ensures that projects are executed efficiently from planning to installation, with precise procurement of materials. Work may include management of windows, doors, concrete, painting, siding and roofing. As an Exterior Remodeling Project Manager with a specialization in measuring and ordering windows and exterior doors, your role is pivotal in ensuring precision in material procurement and the overall success of exterior remodeling projects. You will blend project management expertise with precision in measuring and ordering to deliver high-quality results. Experience is required. Job skill training not offered. Key Responsibilities: Window and Door Measurement and Ordering: Conduct accurate on-site measurements for windows and exterior doors. Collaborate with suppliers to select and order windows and doors that meet project specifications. Maintain detailed records of measurements and orders, ensuring precision in procurement. Project Planning: Work closely with clients and sales teams to understand project requirements and objectives. Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, including the window and door procurement process. Create detailed scopes of work, identifying necessary materials, labor, and equipment. Team Coordination: Assemble and manage project teams, including skilled labor, subcontractors, and suppliers. Assign tasks, set expectations, and provide guidance to team members. Foster effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders. Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and expenses, ensuring cost control and efficient resource allocation, including windows and exterior doors. Prepare cost estimates and diligently track project expenses, including materials procurement costs. Address any budget discrepancies and implement corrective actions as needed. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all exterior remodeling work, especially windows and doors, adheres to industry standards, codes, and client expectations. Perform quality inspections and promptly address any defects or issues. Implement and maintain quality control procedures, emphasizing windows and exterior doors. Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies, with a particular focus on window and door procurement. Proactively address issues that may impact project timelines and budgets. Maintain safety protocols and adhere to industry best practices. Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular project updates and addressing any concerns or inquiries. Generate project status reports and present them to relevant stakeholders, highlighting the progress of windows and doors procurement. Secure necessary permits and approvals for exterior remodeling projects. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
