Summary
Per Sé Group is working with a large Mechanical contractor looking to hire a Mechanical Project Manager in Richmond, VA. The ideal candidate has healthcare, life science, education, or large industrial project background with MEP budgets of $5M+. This role works across all phases of Mechanical and Plumbing construction to ensure project standards, budget, deadlines, and communication are maintained.
Responsibilities
- Work with the general contractor in the development of the overall project schedule
- Develop weekly and bi-weekly plans to support and drive the schedule
- Review, organize, and distribute drawings, specifications, schedules, RFIs and more
- Manage change orders
- Maintain equipment and tool tracking logs
- Help prepare project estimates as needed
- Manage and track all financial and reporting
- Develop and maintain relationships with both general contractors and owners
- 5-10+ years of experience as a Project Manager in the Mechanical and Plumbing construction space
- Process piping experience preferred
- Healthcare, Life Science, Education or industrial project background
- BS in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering preferred
