We are seeking a Utility Worker to become a part of our team! The Utility Worker will perform necessary work to keep our clients’ commercial properties clean and in good repair.

Responsibilities:

Hauling - Graffiti Removal - Maintenance - Day Porter

  • Follow schedule and complete work orders as set by the Supervisor/Account Manager.
  • Cleanup, remove, and haul to the transfer station trash, illegal dumping and debris as directed by the Supervisor/Account Manager. Items may include furniture, tires, appliances, pallets, landscaping material, and/or other items.
  • Load and unload cargo in a safe manner.
  • Graffiti removal as approved by the Supervisor/Account Manager.
  • Minor maintenance repairs as directed by the Supervisor/Account Manager.
  • Complete work orders in a timely fashion.
  • Purchase or order materials and supplies as approved or directed by the Supervisor/Account Manager.
  • Maintain clean and safe workspaces.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned by the Supervisor/Account Manager.
  • Work as a Day Porter when directed by the Supervisor/Account Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a current and valid driver's license. REQUIRED
  • Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
  • Previous experience hauling illegal dumping is desired
  • Previous experience painting is a plus
  • Familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Ability to handle physical requirements (see below)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the Supervisor and Management (in person, phone, text, and email).
  • Comfortable using smart phones for pictures, text, email, and gps navigation
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English. Spanish (bilingual)
  • Be able to work independently and follow instructions
  • Great customer service
  • Highly motivated and have a positive attitude

Physical Requirements:

· Must be able to lift up to 50LB

· Constant standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching over head, and reaching forward.

· Must be able to work in outside in the elements
