The Staff Pad is partnering with a healthcare solutions company that is seeking a CRCST Regional Trainer for the New York City region. 


The Regional Trainer will be responsible for assisting with the onboarding and educating of new team members and overseeing the annual competencies of the current team members. They will be assigned to a regional geographic area to partner with the Clinical Educator and Operational Leadership to provide onsite training and support during orientation and on an ongoing basis to ensure clinical ladder metrics are met as well as ensure regulatory standards are adhered to at all times. The role will report directly to the Regional Operations Director. The position will have clinical relationships with the assigned area's Regional Operations Director and onsite supervisors, leads, and Regional Operations Manager. The role will oversee CRCST certifications including new certifications and renewals. Additional tasks will include managing the learning function, maximizing employee retention, collecting and reporting KPIs, and assessing the training program results and the need for ongoing training based on updated regulatory standards


Duties & Responsibilities
Assist new and current team members with developing skills needed to perform job duties within the regional clinical areas assigned.
Assist new and current team members with developing process improvement within the clinical areas and ensuring adherence to Regulatory requirements.
Ensuring 120 days competency and skills are reviewed and met. Oversee the annual competencies with the account leaders.
Ensure team members at each hospital achieve and maintain 100% CRCST certification.
Assist with the oversight and training process of CRCST for both new hires and current team members.
Oversee the onsite orientation of new hires within the region assigned.
Plan and implement curricula including practice requirements that meets the standards of practice for the profession, certifying bodies and regulatory agencies.
Participate in a plan and ensure a regular, systematic review of all programs, including course objectives, teaching methods/materials and evaluation tools.
Responsible for hospital QA/PI activities as outlined in KPI’s for each hospital/account.
Maintain close contact with each hospital’s clinical education team.
Coordinate regular in-services for local team with the vendors of the hospitals.
Must live in assigned region and be willing to travel to all accounts within the Region to provide new hires and team members with onsite training and educational support in the clinical areas.

Requirements

Qualifications
Education: High School graduate
Certifications: CRCST required
Previous Experience Preferred: 2 years in the SPD Experience in both SPD and OR preferred.
Outstanding customer service skills, ability to build a strong rapport with the hospital teams
Able to travel within designated Regions as needed.
Must have excellent communication and negotiation skills
Possesses excellent leadership skills – can effectively build teams and direct the work of others
Ability to anticipate needs quickly and accurately and appropriately respond to them
Microsoft Suite – Outlook, Word, Excel
Ability to travel 75% of the time to multiple site locations as needed
