As a Engineering and Technical Continuous Improvement Lead, you will define and lead the implementation of Continuous Improvement Technical Center strategy and processes within the Kellogg network.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING 

 

  • Technical Center Element Leadership – As a SME (Subject Matter Expert) for our project and technology systems and tools, you will work with the WK Kellogg community to make improvements, reduce loss, and reapply best-in-class practices.  Making an impact on every project or technical process across each of our global sites.
  • Developing Process - Defining WK Kellogg current best approaches to be used in each plant to reduce project and ongoing production risks. These processes will drive operational savings and plant reliability across our sites as we eliminate losses. This role will also ensure our work processes link seamlessly to other Centers of Excellence like Reliability Management, Autonomous Maintenance, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Quality Food Safety (QFS).
  • Building a Community - Sponsoring Communities of Practice (CoPs) to identify needs and jointly drive continuous improvement.
  • Facilitating Across the Technical Center – Partnering with other Technical Center Element and Regional leads to lead critical enabling. Element leads take a key facilitation role across many of our sub-teams to tie the efforts and magnify the impact.

 

 YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

 

  • High School Diploma or GED plus extensive related experience like Project Management, developing, deploying, owning processes, cross functional and/or regional programs, plant engineering and/or plant maintenance
  • Engineering or manufacturing experience to understand connections with areas like procurement, RM, AM, Leadership Center, People Center, Facilities, etc.
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication skills, and the ability to influence across levels and areas of the business
  • Experience in technology or methodology trends across the industry
  • Up to 50% travel is required (more during initial deployment and less once the program is more mature)
  • Ability to manage challenges with global program deployment in multiple regions, time zones, cultures, and languages.

 

Compensation Insights:

Salary Range:   $123,000.00-$154,000.00

Annual Bonus Percentage Target: 20%
