** Shipping and Receiving Clerk**

**Description**

We are looking for an organized, responsible person to join our Warehouse team. The S&R Clerk is responsible for processing, verifying and keeping records of all incoming and outgoing shipments. This position will consist of order pulling, packing, and shipping and receiving.

The shift for this position is 6:30 am - 3:30 pm Monday - Thursday and half days on Fridays. Potential for overtime occasionally.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

* Receive materials into system, verify counts

* Work closely with production, procurement, and accounting teams

* Prepare and print shipping labels for internal and external product

* Correctly fill out proper shipping documents such as Bill of Ladings and customs paper work

* Complete accurate counts for packaging

* Pull items from shelf accurately, look over item and make sure it is fit to send

* Inspect coworkers orders by verifying each order is pulled correctly

* Ability to cross train in other departments such as assembly and receiving

* Properly secure merchandise to pallets

* Properly package merchandise to prevent damage during shipping

* Clean and organize warehouse

* Assist in physical inventory and cycle counts

* Train peers on policies and procedures

* Promotes a safety oriented culture

* Must adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety regulations

* Responsible for picking orders quickly and correctly

* Utilize proper packaging techniques to package products in appropriate size boxes and pallets

* Utilize RF scanners to pick orders

* Must be willing to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned

**Education/Qualifications:**

* Ability to operate forklift when trained and certified

* Must have proficiency with the following applications: MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)

* A minimum 2-4 years of experience in a shipping and receiving environment

* Lean experience preferred but not required

* Knowledge of shipping and receiving methods, techniques and warehouse equipment

* Experience shipping overseas is a plus

* UPS Worldship & FED EX Online experience is a plus

* Starship experience is a plus

* MAS 90/200 experience is a plus

* Must have high aptitude, ability to learn systems/products/product applications quickly

* Must have ability to speak and write effectively in English

* Must have good manual dexterity

* High School Diploma or GED required

* Ability to follow documented procedures and standards

* Must be organized and detail oriented

* Must be able to meet deadlines and work under pressure

* Must be a team player with a positive attitude

Occasionally required to use a computer and other office productivity machinery (i.e., a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer).

**Climb (stairs/ladders) or balance:**

Occasionally ascends/descends steps or uses a ladder for purposes of getting materials/parts/boxes off of a shelf.

**Stoop, Kneel, Crouch, or Crawl:**

Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch.

**Talk/Hear:**

The person in this position frequently communicates with customers/employees/vendors and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations, which requires the ability to talk and hear.

**See:**

Must be able to see raw materials and parts for safe assembly/production and shipping.

**Carry Weight, Lift:**

Regularly required to lift/carry/move supplies/parts/products greater than 25-pounds during production; or when shipping products to customers/distributors; or storing product in inventory.
