**POSITION SUMMARY**

* Serve customers in a friendly and courteous manner.

* Listen to comments and report to supervisors any important facts you feel they should be aware of.

* Operate cash register.

* Operate and clean all cafeteria equipment.

* Assists supervisor in seeing that all necessary tasks are completed to insure good, consistent service to customers.

* Accountable for accurate cash at the end of each meal period.

* Will count drawer down and drop deposit/drawer.

* **Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities**

+ Ability to speak, read, write, follow written and oral instructions, perform simple math functions and understand English. Friendly and cooperative personality is necessary.

* **Preferred Qualification**

+ Knowledgeable experience in cash register operation.

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**

* Will be required to walk and stand continually through out the day. Hearing, speaking, seeing, bending, and reaching. May periodically lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Uniform and comfortable leather shoes required at own cost. Most work is inside where area is room temperature.
