**Material Handler Loader Position Summary**

This position is responsible for the physical transfer of raw materials, finished goods, and purchased part inventories throughout Stowes manufacturing facility. This position is also responsible for completing system transactions (primarily via scanner gun) associated with all inventory moves to keep inventory quantities of all materials accurate.

**Material Handler Loader Responsibilities**

* Maintain accurate understanding of Stows manufacturing production flow and material needs

* Maintain accurate understanding of Stows quality parameters and identify damaged / non-conforming product

* Remain diligent to system transactions supporting physical moves to maintain high degree of inventory accuracy

* Communicate with manufacturing and shipping coordinators to effectively manage material flow

* Safely operate all hi-lo and similar material handling equipment

* Respond promptly to material needs of all production operators

**Material Handler Loader Essential Functions**

* Lift, push and pull product weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly

* Able to stand for an 8 to 12 hour shift every day

* Kneel, bend, crouch, reach and stretch while handling boards of varying sizes

* Strong visual acuity and manual dexterity

* Able to tolerate an environment where sawdust particles are present

* Able to communicate in an environment with a medium to high level of ambient noise

**Material Handler Loader Position Qualifications**

* Obtain a Stow Company fork lift license

* Able to read prints for quality inspection purposes

* Able to work in a fast paced environment while paying attention to detail

* Must have reliable transportation to and from work

* Must have an excellent attendance record

* Must be willing and able to follow all company policies

* Meet productivity, quality and safety goals

* Follow directions and completes paperwork correctly and neatly

* Actively participate in all team meetings and events

* Complete training and achieve an acceptable level of proficiency within first 30 days of employment

**Material Handler Loader** **Schedule**

* Full-time - Saturday, Sunday and Monday, 6:00am - 6:30pm (work 36 hours get paid for 40)

The Stow Company may temporarily assign any team member with duties outside of their normal responsibilities. Such assignments may be warranted due to a variety of specific requirements, conditions and/or the capabilities of available personnel. Management will determine the nature and duration of those assignments.
