Warehouse Associate (Corporate) - Shreveport, LA

Industrial Electronic Supply (IES) has a full-time opportunity for a **warehouse associate** at our corporate office in Shreveport, Louisiana.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Receive shipments

* Place items received into designated locations in the warehouse or deliver them to the appropriate recipient

* Pull and confirm the accuracy of customer orders

* Prepare orders for shipment and/or load and deliver items on the company panel truck

* Maintain a tidy/safe work area

* Other duties as assigned or required

**Requirements**

* Warehouse/shipping & receiving experience

* Physical capability to move a minimum of 25 pounds

* Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions

* Basic computer skills + Microsoft Office knowledge

* Strong work ethic and attention to detail

* Effective time management and organizational skills, and ability to adapt as necessary

* Exceptional customer service skills

* Ability to communicate clearly - both verbally and in writing

* Valid driver's license and good driving record

* Drug screen and pre-employment aptitude tests are required

**Physical Demands and Work Environment**

* Lift up to 50 lbs from the ground and pull 50 lbs of force

* Safely operate material handling equipment including forklift

* Climb and work from ladders

* Fully squat, stoop, kneel or reach for extended periods of time

* Stand for long periods of time while performing repetitive actions

* Warehouse environment involves exposure to dirt, dust, grease, noise, heat, and cold
