Packer I

**General Purpose:**

Inspect and pack thermoformed parts to assure the customer receives quality product based on their expectations. This job is to be performed in a safe and clean environment.

**Duties & Responsibilities:**

* Remove and inspect production parts from thermoforming machines and properly pack them according to specified instructions.

* Maintain accurate records of parts produced, material lot numbers and quality evaluation.

* Maintain a safe, clean work area at all times.

* Attire and work habits to be in compliance with Company policy.

* To be a team player: working closely with Floaters, Process Technician, & QA to identify defective product, completing paperwork, making boxes, etc.

* Duties include but are not limited to the above.

**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:**

*Be able to read, write & understand English.

*Be able to read & understand various production documents & both oral & written job instructions.

*Be able to use equipment such as scales, pallet jack, and tape machines, etc.

*Accurately record and maintain records pertaining to packing and shipping.

**Education and/or Training:**

*High school diploma or equivalent.

*Completion of recommend training programs.

**Working Conditions:**

*Day Shift: Monday Thursday, 7:00am-5:30pm

*Night Shift: Monday Thursday, 8:30pm-7:00am

*Requires continual standing, walking & bending

*Lifting requirements up to 35 lbs
