The Salvation Army in Santa Fe New Mexico is looking to fill a Production Assistant/Sales Associate position at the Thrift Store. The successful candidate for this position will have good people skills and be able to meet quotas set by supervisor.

The Production Assistant/Sales Associate will ring up sales on the cash register, bagging customer purchases and answering customer questions and concerns. This position will assist with pricing and displaying of items for sale and setting up promotional and sales displays. Production responsibilities will include sorting and pricing donations to be sent to the sales floor, accepting donations from the general public and distributing to the appropriate area providing receipts as needed. This position will also be tasked with maintaining a clean and safe work area.

**QUALIFICATIONS:**

* High School Diploma or GED

* Must be at least 21 years of age

* Must be able to lift 20-50 pounds on a regular basis

* Good people skills

* Must have ability to follow directions, both written and verbal

* Ability to meet quotas set by supervisor

* Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

* Employment contingent upon successful completion of a background check

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:**

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must have the ability to operate telephone, a desktop or laptop computer, as well as the ability to access and produce information from a computer, and to understand written information.
