Function: As a valued member of our Prefab team, you will be responsible for safely assembling electrical components to be supplied to project job sites. Hard deadlines are a regular part of the prefabrication process, and technicians should be prepared for a fast-paced and adaptive work environment. The assemblies are fully customizable and will require attention to detail to construct. Daily assembly tasks require handling of various material such as conduit, wire, and other electrical components.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Pipe threading & cutting
  • Cable assembly
  • Wire splicing and connections
  • Making power, lighting, and equipment whips
  • Light fixture modification and preparation
  • Pipe bending

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Use basic hand tools (e.g. screwdriver, wrenches, pilers, screw-guns, etc.), read tape measures and operate light duty machinery
  • Able to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Ability to work and communicate as part of a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Strong organization skills
  • Follow all safely rules, regulations and established production processes
  • Communicate questions or issues with the supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Cable assembly experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Formal technical training preferred
  • understanding of engineered drawings as well as general procedures for assembly processes
  • daily use of hand and power tools, bandsaw, pipe threaders and other assembly related equipment
