VCA Veterinary Specialist of CT is seeking a full time General Practice Veterinary Technician Supervisor to join the team at our 24-7 general, emergency and specialty hospital in West Hartford, CT. We have a unique culture in our hospital that values each person’s individual skill and personality. Compensation: $25 – $30 / hour based on skill set, 5 years of experience, and licensure status (CVT, LVT, VTS)

Potential Schedule: Full time, holiday rotation, flexible schedule

Certified Veterinary Technician Supervisor Responsibilities:

Full Technician Skill Utilization
Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services
Coaching associates based on need to aid in their success
Some regional travel required
Facilitate communication of ideas, policies, standards and performance
Provide feedback related to associate performance, and collaborate with leadership to develop performance improvement plans
Support associates in their career via VTNE guidance, licensure guidance, and scheduling
Maintain skill efficiency and knowledge
