Compulse, the creative agency arm of Sinclair Broadcast Group, is looking for a Senior Director of Paid Search to oversee our growing paid search business. We are looking for a person with strong analytic, strategic and communication skills as well as a deep understanding of digital media, with specific expertise in paid search. We are seeking a proactive candidate who will come to the team with fresh perspectives, innovative ideas and be ready to drive change.
This position is client facing and will interact daily with sales leadership.
The Senior Director of Paid Search role is a dynamic blend of strategy and hands-on execution. As the driving force behind our paid search initiatives, this individual will not only craft and manage cutting-edge paid search campaigns but will also serve as the authoritative figure leading and inspiring our paid media team. This individual will need to ensure that we meet KPIs, will handle complex campaigns and clients and must be comfortable handling difficult situations.
This is a hybrid/in-person role at our corporate office in Hunt Valley, Maryland.
Requirements & Expectations:
- Expert in paid search marketing. Expertise or advanced knowledge of paid social, programmatic, display, video and other digital formats is a plus.
- Advanced skills in SEO.
- Must be able to develop proposals to recommend tasks, deliverables, and timing for new and existing clients.
- Must be able to provide data-driven insights and recommendations to enhance campaign performance.
- Ensure client satisfaction and oversee campaign health checks and business reviews.
- Will manage a multi-skilled, onshore, and offshore team.
- Will oversee strategy development, implementation, and performance analysis to meet a client's paid search marketing objectives.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices to implement innovative and effective strategies for the department and the company.
- Be a visionary influence, communicating and articulating complex ideas to garner support and trust across the company.
- Be the leading voice of paid search campaigns to external clients, including in-person and online performance reviews of campaigns, and navigating complex expectations.
Qualifications:
- College degree in marketing, advertising, business, or related field.
- Leadership experience with a minimum 5-years managing a team.
- Minimum 10-years experience managing paid media campaigns.
- Fortune 500 or big agency experience required.
- Exceptional problem solving and client management skills.
- Must be an experienced and proven leader.
- Must be comfortable in calls and/or meetings with clients and sales leadership.
- Must be comfortable working with the company's executive leadership team.
- Must be able to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have strong problem-solving skills.
- Must have strong analytical skills.
- Must have experience with Microsoft Office products and the suite of Google office products.
