Print & Scan Equipment Operator (2nd Shift with +$2 differential)

As a growing company, we are seeking Printing and Scanning Machine Operators (officially entitled internally as: "Label Control Operators") for the second shift who are technically & mechanically savvy enough to join our great team!

Here are some key aspects we are seeking from applicants:

Key Responsibilities:

• Setup and operate digital printers and its scanning software to simultaneously produce very high-quality printed labels.
• Scrutinize the daily work queue and paperwork associated with each digital labeling job.
• Ensure all output meets the expected quality and compliance in accordance with the requirements and/or specifications.
• Calculate and setup the mathematical parameters for camera-based scanning equipment.
• Ensure all printed data meets the stringent expectations and detections within quality assurance guidelines.
• Review and identify quality issues within non-scannable areas with strong attention to details while printing.
• Make minor repairs on production equipment.

(More specific responsibilities will be required depending on which Machine Operator position is available at the time of your application.)

Qualifications:

• Previous experience within the printing and/or manufacturing industry is a major plus.
• Accustomed to meeting high quality standards consistently.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Knowledge in calculating and setting up the mathematical parameters for camera-based scanning equipment.
• Extreme experience in quality assurance meeting stringent expectations and detections.
• Intermediate knowledge in common software, especially Microsoft's Office Suite is essential.
• Dependable with very strong work ethic.
• Ability to learn quickly and accurately - learning most key aspects of the job within 3 months.
