Aesthetician

We are seeking an enthusiastic person with aesthetician experience to work as our lead Aesthetician in a cutting-edge Medispa in a well-known, busy dermatology practice. This is a full-time position with a guaranteed base salary. The successful candidate must be passionate about skincare and adept at consulting clients about their skincare needs and recommending professional care products and services, as well as being able to manage and oversee the daily needs of the Medispa.

Requirements

• Proficiency with skincare services that include facials, chemical peels, micro-needling, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, and skin care consultations.
• Currently licensed with the New Jersey State Board of Cosmetology and Hairstyling.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and staff.
• Highly-motivated and well-organized with a high level of attention to detail. Fluency in product knowledge is necessary.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Will administer aesthetic treatments to include facials, Hydrafacials, chemical peels, and microdermabrasion.
• Will provide aesthetic services and perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical spa running smoothly.
• Cleans and stocks treatment room including laying out special equipment or supplies to be used during a patient visit.
• Maintains supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization of equipment when applicable.
• Maintains skincare product inventory, including regular accounting for inventory.
• Is proactive in learning about the products we carry and completing trainings as necessary in order to educate our clients.
• Help organize digital marketing and promotional events.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay
• Commission pay

• Red Bank, NJ: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Aesthetician: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Esthetician License (Preferred)
