Job Description
Prestigious creditor rights law firm is seeking a Virginia licensed attorneys with 0-5+ years of experience practicing in the area of real estate, foreclosure and/or creditors’ rights law for entry to mid-level attorney positions. Ideal candidate would be available for in-office assignment in our Hunt Valley, MD or Chesapeake, VA office.


Key Responsibilities:

- Detailed review of documentation related to VA foreclosures to ensure compliance with state and federal law

- Communicate with client and courts in a timely and professional manner

- Attend court status hearings, mediations and litigation

- Manage portfolio of title curative and litigation matters related to VA foreclosures and other default related issues.

- Prioritize and manage a portfolio of active files and complete daily tasks to ensure legal action exceeds clients’ timelines and expectations

- Day to day handling of the Virginia foreclosure pre-sale, post-sale and accounting processes


Ideal candidate must demonstrate/possess:

· Have the mentality that we, all firm employees, support each other so that we can solve our clients’ problems

· High level of motivation with ability to work independently

· Ability to multitask and be a team player

· The ability to take changes as a positive and work towards constant process improvement

. Bar in Virginia required or in process of receiving; additional Maryland licensure a plus.


Education:

. Juris Doctorate, Virginia Law License Required
