Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

*Industrial Maintenance Tech / Equipment Mechanic*

*QUALIFICATIONS:*
* 3 -5 years of industrial experience required
* Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required
* Ability to read tape measure accurately
* Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills

*RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Troubleshoot and repair all types of industrial equipment including older CNC machines
* Must be able to read prints and electrical schematics and use all test meters and equipment, such as ohmmeters, voltage meters, oscilloscopes, ammeters and test lamps
* Assist in installation of service for new equipment for voltages ranging from 110V to 416V, single phase and three phase, DC drives, numerical controls, welding machines, and hydraulic systems
* Confer with management to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment, and to insure the safety of personnel
* Work with minimum supervision
* Provide on-the-job training to new employees
* Follow all safety and health procedures issued by the company

*PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:*
* Manufacturing environment
* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
* Work involves long periods of standing, squatting, bending, twisting and reaching, may also include climbing
* Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions; heat, cold, rain
* Need normal vision and hearing
* Machinery and tool operation requires the use of safety equipment to include, but not limited to eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, steel toed work boots and gloves

*PPE REQUIREMENTS:*
* Safety glasses, ear protection, steel toed boots and gloves
* Use of grinder / welding equipment requires face shield or goggles

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
