Job Title: Customs Brokerage Manager- Southern Border
Job Location: Laredo, TX

We have an exciting opportunity for a Customs Brokerage Manager for our Southern Border team responsible for overseeing and managing the customs clearance process for goods entering or leaving Mexico and US. This role requires a deep understanding of Mexican customs regulations, trade compliance, and import/export procedures. This position will be based in Laredo, TX.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with Mexican customs laws, regulations, and procedures.
• Oversee the preparation and accuracy of import/export documentation, including customs declarations, invoices, and other required paperwork.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather necessary information for customs clearance.
• Lead and manage a team of customs brokers and coordinators.
• Provide guidance and training to ensure the team is well-versed in Mexican customs processes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Mexican customs authorities, government agencies, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with customs officials to resolve any issues related to customs clearance.
• Stay updated on changes in customs regulations and communicate updates to the team.

Skills / Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Customs Broker or in a similar customs compliance role.
• In-depth knowledge of Mexican customs regulations and procedures.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
