Spreetail is looking to add a Transportation Analyst to the team! In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a variety of different teams including supply chain, the planning and demand teams, and have the opportunity to work with our software teams to ensure we have the most accurate reporting tools and systems. This role will have a large impact on the business in making sure our shipping costs are down and stay down! + Provide reporting, modeling, and dashboards for the supply chain transportation network; focused on cost, carrier performance, and process improvement, and paint a clear picture of overall transportation performance.

+ Review carrier performance to ensure on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and ongoing analysis of freight spend. Aid in the implementation of changes to take advantage of opportunities in performance and cost.

+ Understand other business performance impacts on transportation performance and cost; ensure that outside processes that may impact transportation ability are accounted for in the analysis and improved to ensure efficiency.

+ Understand dispatch and lane assignment strategies; work with internal and external partners to optimize logistics routing.

+ Proactively review the network for future impacts; understand how those changes will impact transportation. Make necessary changes to quickly react to any changes.

**What experiences will help you in this role:**

+ 3+ years of analytic experience, preferably in transportation, warehousing, or ecommerce.

+ You have robust skills and experience with analyzing and presenting data in Excel, SQL, and PowerBI.

+ You are proficient in building models and business cases with business partners.

+ You are proficient in budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing financials results or willing to learn the financial side of things quickly.

+ Experience with creating or improving transportation/warehouse management systems and processes is a plus.
