Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 22 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license in hand at the time of application.
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be eligible to apply for this role.
• COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
Block Scheduling: Case by case
All BSA contracts are 48 hours per week, although not guaranteed.
In the first 8 weeks there cannot be more than 3 days of RTO requested. After those 8 weeks they are flexible.
No more than 3 RTO days will be auto approved
No RTO on holidays
No travel pairs will be considered.
All travelers must be prepared to care for COVID patients if assigned.
Will float to units of equal or lesser acuity
Med/Surg patient population. Telemetry is monitored in a centralized unit
Free floating charge nurse
Scrub Color: Any, no logos
Former perm staff must be gone 1 year before can return as traveler.
BLS: AHA, ARC, or American Safety and Health Institute accepted
Maximum days off: 3 days
