Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and multitasking individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative & Warehouse Associate. This role will involve providing exceptional customer service support while also assisting with various warehouse tasks to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, providing prompt and professional assistance.
- Process (in Quickbooks) sales orders, packing slips, invoices, and exchanges accurately and efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, services, and policies to effectively address customer inquiries and provide product recommendations.
- Collaborate with the sales team to generate sales quotes and assist customers with product selection.
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents, and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications and company standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and
maintain accurate inventory records to ensure inventory integrity.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, as well as other general warehouse tasks, as needed.
- Uphold company standards for customer service excellence and warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in customer service and warehouse operations preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Positive attitude, team player mentality, and willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities.
