ITS supports the Intelligence Community, Rapid Prototyping Facilities, Premier Commercial Customers, and related end users around the world.

We are excited to be recruiting for the next important piece of our history and new talent, a Lead AV Technician! This position supports our Government AV/Video Teleconferencing (VTC) production and installation department by working closely with Engineers and Account and Project Managers.

The responsibilities of this role may include:

  • Manages all life-cycle phases of a project including providing accurate project documentation
  • Loads, tests, and troubleshoots control systems such as AMX, Crestron, and Extron
  • Loads, tests, troubleshoots, and manipulates DSP files including ClearOne, Biamp, and Extron
  • Configures advanced AV equipment including Extron, Crestron, AMX, CISCO, ClearOne, and Biamp
  • Fabricates, terminates, and installs AV and IT cabling; RJ-45, DB-9, 3.5mm, and XLR
  • Configures video conferencing solutions from Polycom and CISCO
  • Tests, commissions, troubleshoots, and diagnoses various AV systems
  • Performs site surveys and document requirements for Engineers and PMs
  • Performs all other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience leading a team
  • Experience providing accurate project documentation for end-users and management
  • Performs all other duties as assigned

To qualify for this position, you must possess a HS Diploma or equivalency; ability to obtain a CTS Certification within the first year of employment; and the ability to travel to various CONUS and OCONUS locations are required. An active DoD Top Secret security clearance is strongly desired.

Additional qualifications include:

  • Ability to life 50lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl and climb
  • Operating knowledge of all MS Office products
  • Ability to follow basic flow diagrams
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
