The Construction Administrative Specialist will provide a broad variety of administrative support to the civil and paving teams in New Braunfels, TX.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Create Raving Fans through customer service for internal and external parties
  • Supports construction self-perform team with accounting and onboarding tasks
  • Liaise between paving and civil construction groups to create standardized processes and procedures
  • Meeting coordination and facilitation including booking venues, scheduling flights and transportation, and arranging food
  • Support DOT compliance efforts by filing and tracking documentation
  • Prepare and edit proposals, correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents
  • Liaise with internal staff at all levels as well as outside businesses, organizations, and industry associations
  • Ability to design, organize, and maintain databases
  • Organize, file, and retrieve documents and reference materials
  • Manage and maintain executives' schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements
  • Assist in merges/acquisitions
  • Create meeting agendas
  • Review operating practices and implement improvements where necessary
  • Maintain group organizational charts
  • Must exhibit discretion and confidentiality

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field, plus a minimum of 5 years of experience directly in the construction industry performing the above responsibilities at a high strategic level
  • Excellent communication skills - interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation.
  • Bilingual- English/Spanish fluency
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Advanced skillset with Microsoft Office Suite products.
