Production and Purchasing Lead

Position summary:

Full-time hourly lead to oversee production, purchasing, and fulfillment procedures for expanding local coffee manufacturer. Position requires occasional delivery coverage.

Not a remote position. Spanish and English Bilingual Speaking is required for this position.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Weekly monitoring of product inventory.

• Production and packaging forecast and scheduling.

• Production packaging as needed.

• Purchasing, quality control, and cost management.

• Monitor inventory of supplier goods.

• Organize and process online orders.

• Occasional delivery coverage.

• Occasional assistance with in-store demos and outside events.

The ideal candidate:

• Must have at least 2 years of previous relevant experience.

• Someone located within the Long Island area.

• Clean driver’s license and comfortable driving a larger vehicle.

• Ability to lift upwards of 50lbs, bend, stretch, and sit for long periods of time.

• Share our passion for coffee and philanthropic mission.

• Desire to grow with company and broaden experience within the industry.

• Ability to adapt quickly in a changing environment as company evolves.

• Work well in a small team environment.

• Detail oriented, organized and skilled in time management.

• Spanish and English Bilingual speaking is required for this position.
