Assistant Swim Coach

92NY Flying Dolphins Swim Team (YFD), located on Manhattan's Upper East Side, is seeking lead and assistant coaches to take on leadership responsibilities for our Age Group Program.

This is a part time position and includes May Center Gym Membership. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. Team information can be found at www.flyingdolphinsswimteam.com

Assist in developing our young athletes into top competitors. The successful candidates will have the ability to work well with athletes, parents, and the other coaches. The individual's experience should illustrate exceptional management communication and motivational skills, team building and community involvement. The candidate should be able to provide relevant examples of teaching quality technique as well as have a record of producing well-rounded swimmers.

Candidates must have or be able to obtain prior to starting:

USA Swimming Coaches certification
• Coaches Safety Training
• CPR & First Aid certification
• Must pass USA Swimming background check prior to starting duties on deck.

Per Diem Compensation Range

$23 - $30/hour

The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
