Role and Responsibilities:
The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the execution of the contract to government standards and to CW Resources expectations. The Project Manager would be responsible for overseeing the workforce.
  • Oversees crew leaders and a workforce composed of individuals with disabilities
  • Responsible for maintaining, tracking, computing, and adjustments to attendance records and payroll
  • Participates and/or initiates daily communication with customers, contractors, and all custodial staff to assess problems/concerns, reach decisions regarding appropriate solutions, and maintain a high level of satisfaction in terms of quality service and effective communication at the facility
  • Oversees ordering, usage, and storage of all equipment, supplies, and materials. Researches and proposes new products to implement the most effective and efficient cleaning industry practices.
  • Complete the onboarding process, including orientation. Train employees on industry and regulatory best practices/standards, contractual specifications, site-specific safety/security/nuance/schedules, supply usage, and conservation, and equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Cultivate standards of performance and professionalism for employees
  • Ensures all daily tasks are completed as scheduled, according to specified quality standards and within budget limits
  • Performs quality control inspections for all areas of responsibility. Submits daily/weekly/monthly/annual reports and contract deliverables according to established deadlines.
  • Complete and submit by established deadlines all documentation required by the customer/contractor/company. The required documentation can consist of but is not limited to quality control reporting, performance evaluations, program evaluations, time studies, deliverables, and ratio reporting, at minimum.
  • Comply with all Federal, State, and Local regulatory standards and procedures
  • Monitor work areas, conduct periodic safety inspections, and take immediate corrective action when work areas and/or practices are deemed to be unsafe or deficiencies are found
  • Maintain passing scores on all evaluations and inspections conducted by facility/building/site and company personnel
  • Conduct accident/incident/near miss investigations in a prompt and thorough manner and initiate procedures to prevent reoccurrence
  • Accountable for ensuring safety rules, regulations, and acceptable work practices, are followed by all employees
  • Ensure that equipment is in safe operating condition and that all safeguards are in place
  • Attendance and a physical presence at work is an essential functions of this position, as this job cannot be performed remotely
  • Perform any other duties as assigned
  • Planning, developing, and assigning daily work schedules
  • Update and maintain SDS booklets

How will my performance be measured?
  • Manage the assigned contract in a smooth, efficient manner by keeping costs under control, handling personnel effectively, and maintaining good relationships with site personnel
  • Responsible for organizing, planning, directing, staffing, and controlling the operations of the facility accurately and promptly.
  • Perform to the standards of the statement of work without deductions for deficiencies
  • Train and instruct workers assigned to the department
  • Completing annual evaluations on custodial employees.
  • Analyze and suggest more effective and efficient procedures and methods of operation
  • Serve as a role model to employees and clients
  • Implement procedures to minimize employee accidents, waste of supplies, and damage to equipment
  • Ability to exercise good judgment, work under pressure, demonstrate flexibility and work independently
  • Effectively assist in planning and organizing workforce to maintain budget constraints
  • Perform/schedule routine maintenance on all equipment used and keep all equipment clean and in fully functional condition
  • Adherence to the company's policies and procedures

Preferred Knowledge:
  • First Aid Certification
  • Knowledge of how to operate in a managerial role
  • Knowledge of how to effectively schedule workers
  • Knowledge of statement of work and adherence to performance standards
  • Knowledge of OSHA Regulations
  • Familiarity with Outlook, SharePoint, Word, and Excel
