Job Requirements Contract to Direct Position Candidate will be responsible for taking completed designs from the designer and utilizing Solidworks 3D & 2D as well as Autocad to check the designs to ensure they are correct based on the original concept standard The candidate will be looking at functionality, GD&T, details, references, orientations, etc. as they will be responsible for signing off on the log of completion before returning it to the designer From that standpoint the checker will be communicating what changes need to be made to the designer and they will ensure that it is completed Candidate will be working on checking multiple projects for multiple customers Working with assembly stations for Powertrain components (run down stations, leak test stations, press stations) Job Qualifications Designer, Checker, Check, solidworks, autocad, 2d, 3d, automation, powertrain, GD&T, gdt, tolerancing, dimensioning, geometric, general assembly, machining, industrial washer Design Checking experience (Candidate must have checked drawings in the automation setting in the past for multiple projects citing examples of changes they have made) Design experience (Candidate must have designed within Solidworks 2D & 3D as well Autocad for automation equipment as they will be using these cad packages to check the designs) Automation design experience (Candidate must have designed powertrain, general assembly, automation, machining equipment due to what is relatable to the client) GD&T experience (Candidate must have experience with geometric dimensioning & tolerancing due to the fact they will be working to ensure tolerancing on equipment is correct) Communication (Candidate will be working side by side with the design team and the communication will be important as they will be talking constantly) Reliance One, Inc. provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
