We are looking for an ambitious, goal-oriented, remote Sales Development Representative to be the initial contact with prospective clients. We need a true hunter who enjoys prospecting using social media, apps, lists, Google, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, as well as through online groups, business journals, and affiliations. You will help us grow our customer base by discussing and determining which products and services are best suited for prospective clients and presenting this information to our Sales Executive team.

The right Sales Development Rep candidate thrives on breaking down walls and finding the right person to talk to. You need to be able to have great conversations and utilize your supreme investigative and listening skills to figure out how we can we help their business grow while saving time and money by offering many of our SolidWorks 3d design software products and services. Your goal will be to prospect, discover, and qualify new leads, then set up prospects for a meetingwith our Sales Executives. (This is a prospecting for new business role, NOT a sales closing role.)

WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE ROLE?

  • 1+ years of business development/hunting experience (technical sales experience in a B2B environment is a huge plus)
  • You must have either: 1) an understanding of CAD/CAM Software; OR 2) experience working in the design or Manufacturing industry; OR experience with technical sales (software business development experience is preferred)
  • You have experience with researching clients via ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, business journals, blogs, and other app marketing tools
  • You possess excellent prospecting, hunting, and consultative sales skills
  • You are an autonomous, high-energy, detail-oriented, self-driven team player who has a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and will work hard to crush your goals
  • You must be an excellent verbal and written communicator with impressive phone skills, and outstanding time management, customer service, and interpersonal skills (empathetic, team player, problem solver with excellent relationship building and sales skills)
  • You are a creative, "outside of the box" thinker
  • You thrive by organizing, prioritizing, and multi-tasking in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • You can work Monday through Friday from 8am - 5pm PST (with an hour for lunch)

Hawk Ridge Systems has determined that the new hire hourly pay range for this role is between $18.65 - $26.15 per hour, plus potential bonuses. Your hourly rate will be based on a number of factors, including knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Since we appreciate transparency, we are sharing that we expect to hire for this position towards the upper middle of this range (dependent on experience/location), which will allow you the opportunity to progress as you grow in your career.
