THIS IS AN HOURLY RATE POSITION AND MUST HAVE BIG BOX RETAIL MANAGEMENT OR SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE We'd like to talk with you about joining our team. We're looking for smiling, enthusiastic individuals with knowledge of sporting goods, merchandising skills and most importantly the ability to provide our customers an excellent level of service. This is a fun, fast paced work environment with variety in the day to day routine. Responsibilities include: oversee all store operations, merchandising, implementation and maintenance of corporate programs, customer service and administrative functions within the store. Responsible for achieving company objectives in sales performance, ensuring the efficient day to day operation of the store. Must have excellent interpersonal/communication skills, strong problem solving ability and analytical skills. Requirements: Merchandise knowledge preferred, such as apparel, exercise, footwear, field and stream, golf and general athletics. Previous big box retail Management experience required. Strong organizational and leadership skills, with a hands-on management style. Ability to provide excellent customer service and motivate and train staff to do the same are essential. Successful retail management experience necessary.
