We are on the lookout for a dynamic and highly skilled Permanent Machinist with a focus on Manual Turning and Milling in the Engineering industry. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about their craft, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to play an integral part in our team. You will be responsible for creating quality parts by operating CNC machines, manual milling, and mill turning. This exciting opportunity will allow you to showcase your abilities and contribute directly to the success of our company.

Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate manual milling machines and lathes to produce precision parts
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services
  • Adjust machine controls and change tool settings to keep dimensions within specified tolerances
  • Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine related issues
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Provide timely, detailed, and accurate reports on current projects and tasks

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in operating manual milling machines and lathes
  • Familiarity with CNC machines and programming is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong understanding of quality control principles and procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate or degree in a relevant field is a plus
  • Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items and work overtime if necessary.
