Facility Class A Driver - Full-time

Clean Harbors in Cranston, RI is currently seeking a Class A Driver. As a Class A Driver for our branch in Cranston, RI you will be responsible for operating roll off trucks and dump trailers.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles;
• Collects loads and transports them;
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units;
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations;
• Conducts pre-trip inspections and monitor equipment for needed repairs, keeping reports, turning in inspections daily;
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports.

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

• Class A CDL required;
• 2+ years of driving experience required;
• Tanker and hazmat endorsements required;
• Ability to drive a manual and no restriction on CDL required;
• Basic computer knowledge;
• Work well in a team environment.
