Bookkeeper Part Time

The part - time Bookkeeper financial duties including but not limited to bookkeeping, invoicing, reporting, payroll, and forecasting for local non-profit agency.

Essential Job Functions:

MUST have QuickBooks

· Performs and maintains all payroll, program billing, banking, accounts receivable and accounts payable duties.

· Files taxes and/or works with accountant to file taxes and tax documents including year-end 990 reporting.

· Works with Treasurer to prepare financial documents and reports for board meetings.

· Updates and maintains financial reporting using electronic programs (Quick Books).

· Ensures accurate documentation and reporting of fund-raising records and follows up with thank you letters acknowledging donations.

· Assists in non-profit status, including all required governmental agency reporting.

Qualifications:

· Excellent spelling and grammar skills.

· Experience with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access, and Quick-Books.

· Experience with Bookkeeping or equivalent financial duties for an organization.

Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week

Work Location: In person  - after 90 days opportunity for Hybrid work.  MUST work 90 days in-person
