How You'll Contribute to the Team:

The VP, Growth Marketing plays a pivotal role in driving company growth through the development and execution of strategic marketing campaigns for new business pursuits and plans that focus on acquisition of new markets and clients, including cross/upsell of existing offerings/services. This position acts as a strategic and functional business partner to wellness and energy growth leaders and is responsible for value proposition development, capabilities marketing, collateral development, growth prospect evaluation, and lead generation initiatives. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills and the ability to develop and execute effective marketing strategies that achieve growth targets and business objectives.

While the role is remote, we prefer to hire selected candidates from the following states: AL, FL, GA, IN, KS, LA, MA, MD, MI, NC, NE, OK, RI, TN, WI and TX.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and execute a multi-channel marketing campaign that increases (new) brand awareness and fuels engagement, to include digital, content, events, stakeholder engagements (supportive/facilitatively) and partnerships.
  • Strategic and functional business partner to newco presidents and Holdco growth enterprise - (aligned specifically to newco strategy blocks and Holdco/enterprise growth goals & objectives)
  • Develop content efforts to produce timely, engaging and valuable materials that resonate with target audience.
  • Develop and execute effective lead generation initiatives that contribute to achieving growth targets.
  • Manage agency relationships for proposal development to ensure brand consistency and increase awareness of the company's offerings.
  • Direct all creative decisions, proposal time schedules, budgets, freelance staff and production fulfillment requirements.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and competitor activities, informing strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align brand strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Analyze and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, making data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  • Manage and allocate budgets effectively to maximize ROI on marketing initiatives.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with external partners, agencies, and influencers.
  • Collaborate with the growth team to ensure alignment between marketing efforts and growth objectives.
  • Ensure brand guidelines are followed and maintained consistently throughout all marketing materials and campaigns.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices, identifying opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Oversee management of marketing platforms and collateral creation for various stages of the prospect pipeline.
  • Model the highest standards of business professionalism; lead the training and development of team members through coaching, motivating, and mentoring on company culture, business goals, fiscal responsibility, and sound business judgment.
  • Lead the recruitment and retention of a diverse team of professionals; create accountability and ownership among team members through communication of clear expectations, supervision, and timely performance feedback.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Role Specific Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field preferred.
  • 13+ years' B2G marketing experience with the majority of experience focused on new business development. Federal government contracting experience is a plus.
  • Proven track record of developing start-up businesses that have grown, matured, and flourished.
  • Proven success with value proposition development, capabilities marketing, and collateral development for emerging businesses.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate information and ideas with clarity and precision using a variety of formats to deliver engaging content to targeted stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities and projects in a dynamic environment, while being attentive to details.
  • Proven success as a cross-functional collaborator with specific experience successfully gaining commitment from others through influence and persuasion.
  • Demonstrated ability to move between high-level strategic thinking and high-detail tactical development and execution.
  • Proven success defining a customer profile and evaluating growth prospects with the business sophistication necessary to proactively identify when and how to pivot.
  • Computer proficiency, including working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
