We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of advertising technology, in particular the technical connections and configurations between ad servers, SSPs, SSAI, header bidding proxies, audience management platforms, DSPs and other related technologies.. For this particular role, an expertise in/ propensity for CTV and Advanced TV advertising will be critical.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable in a technical and consultative sales role and working directly with some of the largest buyers and media owners in the world on solutions that maximize programmatic revenue and increase the capabilities of programmatic campaigns within the overall technology stack. You will also need to drive consensus and work cooperatively across a range of internal and external stakeholders to implement complex solutions, able to effectively communicate with operations/engineering/tech/sales/executive organizations. This position will play a central role in identifying synergies between Magnite's technology platforms and bringing new solutions to market.
In this role you will:
Drive revenue across for Magnite's CTV business by identifying and implementing technology solutions that increase the scale and capabilities of programmatic execution within the streaming TV ad stack.
Accelerate the growth of our CTV business by enhancing the way that our platforms are integrated into media owner supply- specifically focused on our joint solutions with leading ad servers and migrating media owners over to these new tools.
Lead highly technical whiteboarding and training sessions for clients, prospects and internal teams.
Design and implement bespoke solutions to new and emerging commercial challenges.
We're looking for someone with:
6+ year's experience working in advertising technical sales or similar function
Prior experience with ad management systems, ad servers, SSPs, SSAI, header bidding proxies, audience management platforms, DSPs and other related technologies
Strong understanding of Internet advertising a must (account set up, inventory and tag management, account setup and hierarchy, etc.)
Understanding of digital advertising industry, and programmatic market required
Expert knowledge and understanding of online advertising dynamics and campaign planning & buying, (specifically as related to Real Time Bidding)
Advanced knowledge and understanding of VAST and VPAID as well as Open RTB Video Ad serving requirements
BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent work experience in relevant discipline; computer science degree a plus
Strong computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google (Gmail, Calendar, Docs)
Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, ability to communicate with sales, executives and clients
Ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels of the organization
Exceptional customer service and organizational skills are must
Efficient multi-tasking and project management skills
Ability to translate strategic goals into plans and actionable objectives

In California, the base salary range for this position is: $120,000 - $150,000 in addition to an annual variable bonus based on performance and company equity (NASDAQ: MGNI).
In Colorado, the base salary range for this position is: $110,000 - $140,000 in addition to an annual variable bonus based on performance and company equity (NASDAQ: MGNI).
In New York, the base salary range for this position is: $120,000 - $150,000 in addition to an annual variable bonus based on performance and company equity (NASDAQ: MGNI).
