Facilities Technician

Duro-Last Roofing has a full-time opening for a Facilities Technician. This position will be located at our Company Headquarters in Saginaw, Michigan. This will eventually be a 3rd shift position, but training will start on 1st shift for about 6 months. This is a great opportunity that allows for advancement.

Job Responsibilities:

• Carrying out repair and maintenance tasks on HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and other facilities and equipment
• Conducting preventative maintenance to ensure facilities and equipment are in good working order
• Inspecting facilities to identify areas that require maintenance or repair work
• Maintaining accurate maintenance and repair records
• Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with safety protocols and procedures
• Responding to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Communicating with facility managers and other relevant personnel to keep them informed of maintenance and repair work being carried out
• All other duties assigned

Job Requirements:

• At least three years of experience in facility maintenance
• Specialty in at least one skilled trade desired, but not required
• Familiarity with HVAC systems, electrical systems, and plumbing
• Ability to carry out repair and maintenance tasks on facilities and equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience in working with safety protocols and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
