THE COMPANY:

Element Science, Inc. is a medical device and digital health company focused on developing solutions at the intersection of clinical-grade wearables, machine learning algorithms, and lifesaving therapies in order to address leading causes of death and hospitalization in patients with heart disease, primarily as they transition from the hospital-to-home. By putting the needs of patients and physicians first, our personalized digital devices, which are designed for function, comfort, and ease-of-use, aim to redefine the paradigm of care for these patients. Our first product, a wearable patch defibrillator, is initially targeted at treating the more than 500,000 patients in the US with an elevated temporary risk of potentially experiencing a lethal heart rhythm. SUMMARY OF ROLE:

The Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Shipping Coordinator will report directly to the Warehouse Supervisor. This team member is responsible for the coordination and oversight of DME orders once they are placed. This position is the point person with customer service, warehouse supervisor, and the warehouse shipping staff to ensure accurate and timely orders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• • Act as a liaison between the Customer Service department and Field Clinical Representatives (FCRs) to facilitate the timely and accurate fulfillment of DME orders.
  • Coordinate delivery times and dates with carriers and customer service/end users.
  • Assist in managing delivery changes or reroutes to another FCR per Customer Service's requests.
  • Engage in inventory availability discussions with customer service and warehouse operations.
  • Manage FCR fulfillment selection for all orders, ensuring smooth order delivery.
  • Provide the completed packing slips to Finance and Customer Service departments for payment and timely invoicing.
  • Develop written procedures for customer services and product fulfillment.
  • Assist the materials department in monthly inventory counts on an on-needed basis.
  • Work with Quality Assurance to process returned materials when needed.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to optimize shipping processes and ensure efficient order fulfillment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-2 years of experience in the DME/Healthcare/Med Device industry (preferred)
• Customer Service Oriented
• Proficient in MS Office applications and ability to learn department and job-specific software systems.
• Demonstrate organizational skills.
• Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate analytical skills when problem-solving.
• Demonstrate high attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy

The salary for this non-exempt level position will be based on experience and qualifications within an established pay range.

• Pay range: $25.00 - $30.29 per hour
