Sterling Medical is actively seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to work with the US Coast Guard in Kodiak, AK

Benefits:

Excellent Pay: $27.81/hr.

Schedule: Mon-Fri. DAY SHIFT (no nights or weekends)

PTO 3 weeks

11 Paid Federal Holidays

Health, Dental and Visual Insurance

401K with company match

$1500 relocation expense. Airfare & first 30 days lodging included.

A. A certificate or Associate degree as a CMA/MA from a state accredited program and 12 months experience with in the preceding 36 months, or,

B. Certification from a military medical assistant (i.e. Health Service Technician, Hospital Corpsman) ''A'' school and 12 months experience within the preceding 36 months, or,

C. 36 months experience within the preceding 60 months as a medical assistant in a private practice and completed the requirements for certification. The National Commission for Certifying Agencies, part of the Institute for Credentialing Excellence, accredits four certifications for medical assistants:

BLS (Basis Life Support)
