Job Title: Foreman Electrician - Massachusetts
Fritz Staffing Group is currently seeking an experienced and skilled Foreman Electrician to lead a team of electricians in Massachusetts for a client. This position requires strong leadership abilities, technical expertise, and a commitment to ensuring the successful completion of electrical projects while adhering to safety standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of electricians and apprentices on various projects, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and according to specifications.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to plan and execute installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Oversee the layout and wiring of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with local and state codes and regulations.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to schedule work, allocate resources, and meet project deadlines.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure workmanship meets company standards and client expectations.
- Train and mentor junior electricians and apprentices, providing guidance and support to promote skill development and safety awareness.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked by the team.
Requirements:
- Valid Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician license or reciprocating state license
- Proven experience as a Foreman Electrician or in a similar leadership role, with a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks requiring manual labor and working in various weather conditions.
