Inventory Analyst

Large manufacturing facility is hiring for an Inventory Analyst. This position manages the finished goods and raw material inventory control activities for our facility. Responsible for the technical and operational aspects of the inventory controls and analysis.

Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:

• Make recommendations and provide feedback and resolution to system problems as they arise.
• Scheduling and revising shipment plans to ensure efficient distribution of products to satisfy both internal and external customers.
• Manage the receipt of all raw material inventories
• Review all inter-warehouse transfer
• Responsible for analyzing inventory levels against product demand to determine reorder levels to ensure product availability and minimize inventory cost.
• Direct the positing of finished good products inventory activities in daily physical inventory random counts.
• Coordinate finished goods housekeeping activities.
• Monitor and adjust Min/Max levels in accordance with demand.
• Manage the end of month inventory posting activities. Establish proper cut-off control for finished goods and raw material inventory, run end of the month reports, coordinate beginning of month inventory activities.
• Responsible for audit inventory reconciliation if required and runs end of year reports.
• Establish cycle count system based on A,B,C items and implement necessary protocol to improve inventory accuracy.
• Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
• Certification in Production and Inventory Control Management (CPIM) from American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS).
• Experience with Microsoft Navision

Salary Range: $22.62 - $27.24 per hour (Depends on Experience)
