The Sales Education Manager for VIS (Varian Interventional Solutions) plays a pivotal role in driving, facilitating, and organizing all aspects of Sales internal training programs and education for VIS, and works closely with the Global Training Director to ensure successful delivery of goals.

This is a remote role. Candidates must be based in the US.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop clinically based curriculum for Sales Training program and ensure successful delivery of program goals through facilitation of online, in-person, and hands-on learning experiences.
  • Manage and align program content and material for target audiences through agenda creation, scheduling, and speaker coordination for internal education programs, webinars, trainings, and/or product releases.
  • Maintain alignment with allocated budget for all program initiatives.
  • Coordinate and manage completion, collection, and organization of department reporting needs for measuring educational success across internal education programs and develop the strategy around continued success in a constantly evolving market.
  • Help develop SOPs for Clinical Sales education to support processes and procedures for successful implementation of programs.
  • Collaborate with other functional teams including, but not limited to downstream marketing in the development of training materials to support new products, disease states, and evolving market needs while ensuring strategy alignment and consistency in messaging throughout educational programs.
  • Identify gaps within Clinical Sales educational resources and spearhead the creation of new material.
  • Attends cases, customer calls, dinners, conferences, or local events as needed to stay current with the evolving needs of sales trainees and customers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in corporate sales medical education
  • Capability to comprehend the Interventional Radiology market, commercial characteristics, disease state, and applicable clinical procedures to provide thoughtful and effective training solutions.
  • Strategic mindset with demonstrated ability to create, refine and implement (medical education programs and) training material based on the changing needs of the customer and climate.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and visual presentation skills.
  • Strong organization and planning skills.
  • Project and time management skills and prioritization skills while managing multiple tasks and projects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite and related tools and systems.
  • Proficiency in instructional design concepts and strategies for content creation
  • Preferred experience in content authoring tools, such as (Articulate Storyline, and proficiency in video editing tools such as Camtasia).
  • Demonstrated ability to create, refine and implement education programs.
  • Database and learning management system (LMS) experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous medical device experience.
  • Previous background/experience in corporate medical/professional education.

The base pay range for this position is

Min $77,300 - Max $135,200

The pay wage range shown is based on the job posting's primary location. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications, and location.
