Job Description
Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Manager
Salary Range: $95,000-$105,000, salary exempt.
Relocation assistance is available. Sponsorship for immigration cases is unavailable.
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee our maintenance department. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of all equipment and facilities. This is a leadership role that requires strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team. Responsible for directing, training, leading and developing a team, including developing budgets and capital project experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise a team of maintenance technicians
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs
- Coordinate and prioritize maintenance tasks to ensure minimal disruption to operations
- Oversee the repair and troubleshooting of equipment breakdowns
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inspections
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Develop and manage the maintenance budget
- Implement and maintain a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Provide technical guidance and support to the maintenance team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance management
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, and other mechanical systems
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills
- Proficient in using CMMS software for maintenance planning and scheduling
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying issues
- Ability to fabricate parts or components as needed
- Project management skills for overseeing large-scale maintenance projects
