Senior Specialist, Billing Audit and Corrections

As a Senior Specialist, Billing Audit & Corrections at RXO, you will communicate extensively with our clients and internal customers to ensure billing issues are not the cause for lack of payment and address any billing errors that may arise to prevent future occurrences. What your day-to-day will look like:

• Research discrepancies and resolve variances in alignment with processes and workflow
• Validate invoicing for accuracy; correspond with key stakeholders to resolve inaccuracies or issues
• Perform root cause analysis of uncollected accounts receivable (AR)
• Validate system data for accuracy of customer contracts

• Research, analyze and identify issues and errors on freight invoices and bills of lading; collaborate with internal and external parties as needed to resolve issues
• Perform account maintenance to add, change or delete customer information, data elements or attributes
• Escalate issues as needed to push for timely resolution.
• Assist Manager as needed with running reports

What you'll need to excel:

At a minimum, you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 2 years of experience in transportation
• Experience in customer contract auditing and accounts receivable
• Broad range of network and desktop knowledge, including experience with Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Highly organized work style with the proven ability to multitask and prioritize workloads
• Demonstrated analytical skills; ability to effectively identify and resolve problems
