The KLA Services team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The KLA Services organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
Responsibilities
Develop and deliver technical training on service, maintenance, installation, repair, and fixing.
Use the combination of product technical skills and training skills together to deliver high-quality service training to KLA field service engineers, technical support engineers, and install engineers and external customers.
Participate in tool building, manufacturing, field support, upgrades, installs, and other technical activities to master the technical know-how on the assigned product. Maintain a high level of technical skills and stay up to date on new product changes and updates.
Independently conduct and lead the review meetings and discussions with authorities to define breakthroughs, work, and training plans.
Lead the assigned training projects; conduct reviews with partners; provide regular updates to the partners and functional groups; assess risks and actions; assesses efforts, time and resource requirements; maintains action trackers and project documentation.
Review engineering documentation, procedures, and specifications. Collect technical information into training documents. Develop well-organized training content and videos most appropriate to the target audience and build appropriate certification plans.
Learn and use new software and tools to develop high-quality videos, remote training, web-based modules, augment reality models and simulations to deliver highly engaging learning experiences.
Fully maintain the assigned tools or equipment in the best possible conditions all the time. Performs regular health checks, preventive and corrective maintenance and upgrades.
Follow and apply standard training design and development best practices, formats and templates.
20% travel that could be domestic or international
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience as field service engineer in semiconductors or capital equipment
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and related work experience of 5 years OR Master's Degree and related work experience of2 years OR equivalent experience
Experience with high vacuum and or E-beam tools
