ELS is hiring for the position of Dockmaster in Hollywood, Florida.

What you'll do:

The Dockmasterprovides administrative andoperationalsupportand attends to managers'requests in a timely and efficient manner.

Your job will include:

  • Report and coordinate with GM and/or Admin daily.
  • Greet and assist owners, captains,crew, and guestsin a professional and friendly manner.
  • Coordinate arriving and departing vessels both clerically and operationally
  • Oversee fueling of boats in a safe manner.
  • Lead Dockhands in a Professional Manner.
  • Daily/weekly dock hand meetings to address issues, review, and plan duties.
  • Coordinate and plan dock hands lunches, time off and vacations.
  • Organize and maintain files, inspection reports monthly and annual.
  • Recommend operational improvements to managers.
  • Monthly safety inspections: docks, equipment, ladders, fire lines, pool, fuel system, and facilities.
  • Coordinate with GM and oversee all inspections and repairs.
  • Train dock hands proper procedures for fueling, tying boats up, proper procedure and use of marina waste pump out system and safety.
  • Review hurricane preparation and implementation plan.
  • Maintain janitorial inventory and coordinate with office to reorder
  • Machinery - Operate safely, inspect, and clean weekly.
  • Maintain Service Logs for Equipment and facilities
  • Responsible for cars parking in designated areas, Owners, captains, crews, and vendors.
  • Auditing and maintaining boat owners' vendors insurance and parking policy.
  • Communicate and follow up with contract vendors. Pool and landscape companies.
  • Support administrative office staff as needed.
  • Perform all pos functions. Process sale tickets, end of day closing procedures and reporting.
  • Perform standard administrative duties(e.g., answering phones, scheduling meetings, etc.).
  • Create and editrequired documents, presentations, files,spreadsheets, databases, and financial reports.
  • Prepare quarterly clean vessel waste report and email to state office.
  • Research and implement company-sponsored activities.

Experience & skills you'll need:

  • High school diploma, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Excellentinterpersonal,written, and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize appropriately.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meetdeadlines.
  • Exceptionalorganizational andtime management skillsand the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule as required.
  • 3 years of marina experience preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, as well as the ability to perform word processing and data entry.
