The Opportunity with McKinstry

We are currently seeking a Project Compliance Lead Analyst to join our Finance and Accounting team. In this role, you will execute project compliance objectives as a subject matter expert & mentor. Additionally, some responsibilities you will have include:

  • Mange ERP system security requests.
  • Manage daily requests and inquiries specific to contract validation.
  • Exception scenario problem solving with PMs.
  • Validate project contract setup within ERP.
  • Validate change order setup within ERP.
  • Act as resource for project setup inquiries.
  • Implement and uphold compliance requirements, procedures and policies.
  • Revise the compliance programs as necessary to meet the changing needs of the organization.
  • Train employees on compliance guidelines, requirements, and standards.
  • Compile and analyze both internal and external information for compliance requirements.
  • Collect and coordinate internal compliance data with other departments.
  • Collect, store, and track all compliance documentation.
  • Explore new, innovative opportunities to add value to the job.
  • Complete monthly analytics and reconciliations supporting validation accuracy.
  • Submit public work intent and affidavit filings as necessary.
  • Submit public work certified payroll reports as necessary.
  • Project close-out within ERP as necessary.

What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry

  • Must have demonstrated proficiency for all the responsibilities of a Senior Analyst - Project Compliance.
  • 5 years of finance/accounting experience required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite -Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio required; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.
  • Knowledge of automated accounting and construction management software required.
  • Knowledge of database structures preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail, organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills required.
  • Self-motivated; deadline oriented with strong attention to detail required.
  • Professional, positive and friendly attitude at all times required.
  • Willingness to learn and assume additional duties required.

The pay range for this position is $72,100 - $105,900 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on market location. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
