We are seeking for immediate hire a Senior Investment Advisor in King of Prussia, PA or Allentown, PA.



Responsibilities

Represent Girard Pension Services as a subject matter expert both internally during planning and prioritization and externally acting as the primary investment liaison to Pension Clients.

Attends investment and/or consulting meetings as required or requested by each client to review investment performance reports and provide market commentary.

Maintains existing and develops new client relationships through meetings and/or attendance at other professional association or networking opportunities, and other Univest sponsored events.

Practice thought leadership in the form of research papers, thought pieces and presentations as required or assigned.

Collaborate with key senior stakeholders across firm management, including the portfolio management team, relationship managers, and the client service team to set process and development roadmaps consistent with delivering key business objectives.

Participates in the development of sales materials, RFP solicitation, responses and supporting documentation, and new client onboarding forms and processes.

Reviews compliance with asset allocation models and Investment Policy Statements (IPSs) and the implementation and documentation of any new IPSs or future changes to existing IPSs.

Reviews and approves quarterly RIA Investment Advisory fee summaries and basis point compliance disclosures for each custodial platform and provides appropriate explanations for significant variances.

Supervises the preparation and dissemination of periodic pension plan performance reports covering all custodial platforms.

Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of Conduct.

Performs additional duties as required or assigned.



Qualifications

10+ years of experience in a relationship management role, serving as the primary liaison with clients, preferably institutional relationships, presenting investment materials and market and economic insights.

Excellent communication skills, both interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation.

A passion for investing as an intellectual pursuit, outstanding quantitative and deductive reasoning skills are required.

Comprehensive people management skills; the ability to lead at an empathetic, high EQ organization.

Presentation skills to individuals or a large group that requires strong investment and capital markets knowledge.

Self-starter with the ability to set priorities, manage responsibilities, and exceed client expectations.

Series 7, 66 or 63/65 registration.

A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related fields, a CFA designation, a master's degree, or an MBA is preferred.

Industry relevant experience is typically 10+ years. Specific certifications are often required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
