Job Opportunity: Special Education Teacher
Location: Muskego, Wisconsin
Soliant, a leading provider of educational staffing solutions, is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Muskego, Wisconsin. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support students with diverse learning needs and make a positive impact within the school community.
Job Details:
- Position: Special Education Teacher
- Type: Full-Time
- Location: Onsite
- Duration: Contract from now through 06/09/2024
- Hours: 7:45am-4:00pm
- Caseload: Cross Categorical 5th-6th Grade
- Hourly Compensation: $34.25-$40.00 (rate range)
State Requirements:
- Valid Wisconsin Special Education Teaching License
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs in a cross-categorical setting
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students on caseload
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure students' academic and social-emotional success
- Use data to monitor student progress and adjust instruction and interventions as needed
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding students' progress and goals
Requirements:
- Valid Wisconsin Special Education Teaching License
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including those with behavioral challenges
- Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
